Concentration

Ellie has been learning to cut with her blunt scissors. She is left-handed, which seems so backwards to me in trying to help her. But, she really is doing a great job. She concentrates on her task so diligently, and spent over a half hour on two different days learning the mechanics. I have smiled to myself as I witness her mouth moving open and closed in time with the scissors. It's so cute and so like her to get lost in a task. She has a little plastic container filled with her prized cutting scraps. Good thing I have a lot of scrapbook paper scraps with which she can practice!
