...in the last 24 hours two of my friends gave birth to their children, and I hope this week we will welcome one more - - your cousin, who will be about 2 months older than you. Aunt Lesley is due to have her any day now. All these babies being born makes me even more excited to meet you soon! I am just a bit over 32 weeks, and feeling pretty good. You are head down, and your movements are getting larger and more powerful, which means it's getting tight in there! My mom gave me your first gifts a few weeks ago... some adorable little outfits and some beautifully handmade flannel receiving blankets and burp cloths. What fun to see the soft, new items in your dresser drawers. One of the little sweatshirts reminds me exactly of something your daddy would wear, if it was the right size. That will be a fun one to see you in!
Ellie made a very selfless offer to you the other day; she laid her very favorite blankie on my tummy for you to use. I was very touched by her thoughtful kindness. Both Katie and Ellie have felt your kicks when they are cuddling with me to read. They talk about you more and more, and seem to be understanding that the time is getting closer to meet you. We love you, precious little one.

i love your little notes to your tummy jules.. these are very special and will be a joy for your son to look back upon some day. how excited for the first new things for him too! i'm sure katie and ellie are getting more and more excited to meet him! what amazing big sisters they will be!
