BIG Changes

Well, as of last Thursday, it's official... we will soon be residents of Calaveras County, California! Jonathan now has a teaching job in Angels Camp, and we will be living in Copperopolis with my parents until our home is move-in ready.

We are very thankful for how the Lord has led us these past few months, as we began praying in January about specifically moving here. After a super real estate find in April, we wondered if the Lord was directing us to move sooner than we first had planned. With Jonathan's new teaching job, we will be making the transition in just a few weeks - - after we pack up, say good-bye to friends, and put our house on the market.

It sounds like a lot of stress for a while, but God has shown how faithful He is to reveal His will in His time, not ours. It's so easy to surge ahead, and try to make scenarios play out in the way we think is best. We've learned a lot about "sitting back" and prayerfully waiting for the Lord to work. We are grateful for our sovereign God Who knows all things better that we do!

Moving on is not easy, especially for those remaining, but we are grateful for our time in the North State, and look forward to God's continual leading in our lives, for His glory.

Colossians 1:17 - He (Christ) is before all things and in Him all things hold together.
