Most of you probably know that we spent the summer building our first home. We are building a 1200 square foot one-story on our 1/2 acre (currently living in a mobile on our property). We had to build it ourselves for affordability purposes, although the Lord provided for us to be able to hire Matt Martin, our brother-in-law, and our good friends, Dave Walters and Daniel Lonbeck, for most of the summer. So, by the time Jonathan returned to the classroom in late August, we had the house done up to the drywall. We are now working on the inside finish work and hope to move in this winter. There is no real hurry, except that our 14x48 mobile is feeling smaller by the day with two growing girls!
