A short five months ago today, you joined our family. It's gone by so very fast, and yet it seems you have always been with us, too. We can't imagine life without our sweet little boy!
You are such a fun baby, usually full of smiles and giggles. I love your double-chinned grin. You are rarely upset; when you do fuss, it is usually because you are overly tired or because you'd rather not sit still for your breathing treatments. You love beint tickled, and especially enjoy being kissed in your neck. You always have big smiles for Daddy when he comes home from work, and I know that makes him feel very special.
You are working on gaining balance to sit up, and you are trying to crawl already. You get up on your knees and rock back and forth, but don't seem to know what to do with your arms yet.
You crack me up with your fingers; you just can't seem to decide which one is your favorite. Usually the right thumb is reserved for nap time. Sometimes the left pointer slips in when you are in a tired, but funny mood. Other times you try two fingers at a time. Of course, this is accompanied by tons of drool!
You had a check-up last week with your regular doctor, not the CF specialist, and you weighed in at 16.5 pounds! That's pretty hefty for one of our babies. We are thankful that you are growing so well, and your body is so responsive to the digestive enzymes.
You love for me to carry you around the house so that you can be in on all the activity going on... watching me make yogurt, listening to the girls pretend to be princesses, listening to Daddy play his guitar and sing. When you do crawl, I am sure you will follow us all around the house, getting in on all the action!
Silas, we are so thankful for you, little man. God is so good to us always, and so good to bless our lives with YOU!

Oh my, I cannot believe he's already 5 months! What a blesssing about his weight! He is truly such a sweet sweet boy. Love the picture updates too Jules :)
