A few days ago, Lesley was playing outside with Lilly and Katie. Katie disobeyed by running toward the front of our driveway without Lesley with her. Later, I was talking to Katie about the need to obey right when we say to. I said, “Do you remember what happened to Lassen (our kitty)?" She nodded "yes," but I went on. "He got hit because he ran into the road. Now he isn’t with us anymore. We don’t want that to happen to you. We want to you here with us.” Katie followed up with “Yes, then I would go be with Jesus.” I am glad spiritual truths are sinking in, but I still want my little girl with me for a while!
